What was Tristel New Zealand Limited trying to over come?

Tristel have a large medical tray made from Transparent Polycarbonate.  This part requires a high standard of manufacture to meet with regulatory standards.  The machine needed to produce this part is 1400 Ton. Each time Tristel requires parts made we support the process by liaising with the manufacturing plant and tool makers during the production run.  

The parts produced are complex and need to meet a high standard of quality control.  Attention to detail during the running of the machine is critical to achieve good quality product.  Onsite staff support is provided to those who are not familiar with this type of plastic processing.

How did GF Designs solve the challenge?

Because of extensive involvement with this product and tooling while it was being developed, we gained sufficient experience to offer support for future manufacture of the product.
